VINCENT FLÜCKIGER

Vincent.jpg

Vincent Flückiger, who started out playing electric guitar and then moved on to baroque lute, loves diversity and encourages his students to explore styles as varied as classical, rock, pop and jazz, whether on classical guitar, folk guitar, ukulele or electric guitar. His aim is to support his students in their musical development, boost their self-confidence and give them the tools to ensure that music continues to accompany them throughout their lives.

Vincent was born in Fribourg (Switzerland) and studied baroque music in Geneva and Basel. He performs mainly in Europe with various orchestras and ensembles. He also practices electronic improvised music and plays in crossover groups (pop and renaissance music, classical and Indian music). He also draws, illustrates books and exhibits. His interest in languages has enabled him to teach at ICMS so far in English, German, Italian and French, his mother tongue. In the future, he would be delighted to teach in Russian, Latvian or Czech!
